Owner Profile: The Xinjiang Zhundong Wucaiwan North Three Power Plant Unit 2 project (2×660 MW) is a key power project in the Autonomous Region's 12th Five-Year Plan. It is located in the Xinjiang Zhundong Wucaiwan Coal-Electricity-Chemical Industry Park in Jimusar County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is approximately 90 kilometers east of the county seat and 35 kilometers west of Wucaiwan Town. The project involves the construction of two 660-megawatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical coal-fired indirect air-cooled generating units, along with desulfurization and denitrification facilities. The construction of this project will provide power supply security for the economic and social development of central and eastern regions, alleviate environmental pressures in central and eastern regions, and play a positive role in accelerating the transformation of Xinjiang's energy resource advantages into economic advantages and promoting the leapfrog development of Xinjiang's economy.
