Owner Profile: This project is located in the western part of Polo Town, Hengshan County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, at the site of the former Hengshan Power Plant. The planned capacity is 4×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units. The first phase of the project plans to construct 2×1000MW domestically produced high-efficiency ultra-supercritical air-cooled pit-mouth generating units. The project features "large capacity and high parameters, water and energy saving, and pit-mouth power plant," which is in line with national industrial policies. The first phase will construct a 2×1 million kW power plant and a 5 million ton annual coal mine. This project is one of the three supporting power sources for the "Shaanxi Yuheng-Weifang 1000kV ultra-high voltage AC transmission and transformation project," a key power transmission channel in the national air pollution prevention and control action plan, with a total investment of approximately 7.5 billion yuan.
