Shaanxi Meixin Aluminum Magnesium Alloy Branch Company is a subsidiary of Shaanxi Meixin Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., and is a key link in the coal-electricity-aluminum integrated circular economy industry chain. The branch company was completed and put into operation in December 2018, with a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year. It adopts advanced domestic 500ka large pre-baked electrolytic cell technology and brand-new busbar technology. In terms of production performance, the branch company has achieved remarkable results. In the first quarter of 2025, the electrolytic aluminum output reached 75,830 tons, exceeding the quarterly plan by 1.11%. The proportion of aluminum liquid with a qualification rate of AL99.70% or higher has continuously maintained 100%, and the product quality is excellent; the AC power consumption of aluminum liquid is lower than the company's annual target of 54 kWh/t; the alumina consumption is precisely controlled at 1917 kg/t; the net consumption of pre-baked anodes is 25-26 kg/t lower than the planned amount; the casting loss rate is as low as 3.52‰; and the technical and economic indicators are comprehensively better than the industry average.

The branch company also pays great attention to green development. It invested more than 15 million yuan in comprehensive upgrades and transformations targeting unorganized emissions and monitoring, passed the clean production audit acceptance, and was rated as a Class A enterprise in the first batch of performance grading of key industries in heavy pollution weather by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment in April 2024, achieving ultra-clean emissions and improved environmental quality. Moreover, the branch company has also built a harmless comprehensive disposal project for carbon residue, which recycles and utilizes hazardous waste resources from electrolytic aluminum production to produce recycled cryolite and carbon powder, reducing waste discharge and improving the comprehensive utilization rate of resources.
