Project introduction
Governance Area: Coke line area, coal line area
Owner Profile: The 3.6 million tons/year rammed coke project of Guodian Group Xilaifeng adopts world-class coking technology. It constructs a rammed coke oven with a carbonization chamber height of 6.78 meters, and supporting facilities include coal and coke conveying systems, coal gas purification systems, desulfurization and denitrification systems, wastewater treatment systems, and dry quenching coke systems, supporting the development of downstream industrial chains such as methanol, ammonium nitrate, and tar deep processing. Based on comprehensive considerations of the safe and stable operation of upstream and downstream enterprises in the park's industrial chain and potential huge losses of state-owned assets, job placement, and huge financial costs, the project is planned to be constructed in two phases: Phase 1, 2x65 holes, 1.6 million tons/year, construction started in March 2022 and put into operation in December 2023. At that time, two 1 million-ton 4.3-meter coke ovens and the 600,000-ton coking plant of Tianxin Company will be shut down and withdrawn; Phase 2, a 2x70-hole 2 million tons/year coke oven project will be launched in 2023 and completed in 2025.
