Owner Profile: Jineng Holding Jiajie Thermal Power Plant is located in Jiajie Village West, Longcheng Street, Xiadian District, Taiyuan City. It is the first F-class "two-with-one" combined cycle thermal power generation project in Shanxi Province, with an installed capacity of two 298MW gas turbine generator sets and one 264MW steam turbine generator set, totaling 860MW. It mainly uses natural gas from the first and second lines of the Shaanxi-Beijing pipeline, supplemented by coalbed methane. The water source uses reclaimed water treated by the city's sewage treatment plant, with a reclaimed water usage rate exceeding 98%. Since its commissioning in October 2014, it has not only provided stable heating for approximately 20 million square meters of buildings in southern Taiyuan, ensuring a warm winter for more than 200,000 residents, but also achieves an annual power generation of 1.99 billion kWh. In terms of environmental protection, Jiajie Thermal Power Plant has achieved remarkable results. Through various technical measures, such as ultra-low nitrogen oxide transformation, air-cooled island noise reduction technology, and distributed photovoltaic power generation systems, it has achieved energy conservation and emission reduction, reducing its environmental impact. Greenhouse gas emissions have continued to decrease from 2020 to 2023, reaching 769,357 tCO₂ in 2023. Due to its outstanding performance, it won the "4A" gas turbine unit energy efficiency benchmark award in the power industry in 2024 and was selected as one of the new four categories of environmentally friendly facilities open units by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, setting an industry benchmark with its green production practices.
