Guangxi Guandong Beihai Power Plant Co., Ltd. (formerly known as: Guotou Beibu Gulf Power Generation Co., Ltd., etc.) was registered and established in Beihai, Guangxi on February 6, 2002, with a registered capital of 631.9988 million RMB. It is a company mainly engaged in the manufacturing of electrical machinery and equipment, and its controlling shareholder is Guangxi Guandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. The company is located in Tieshan Port District, Beihai City, and its business scope is extensive, covering the construction and operation of the Beihai Power Plant, power sales services, heat production and supply, and electromechanical equipment, fuel, and ash residue comprehensive utilization serving the power industry. It also involves coal wholesale, wharf and port facilities related services, etc.

Currently, the company operates two 320MW coal-fired generating units for the Phase I project. The two units were put into operation on November 30, 2004, and March 9, 2005, respectively. The units have achieved more than 7000 days of safe production, with a cumulative power generation exceeding 67 billion kWh, and tax payments exceeding 1.2 billion yuan. For many years, the company has achieved steady growth in revenue and profit, and has performed excellently among coal-fired generating units nationwide. On March 31, 2024, its Phase II expansion project was fully completed and put into operation, adding two 660MW ultra-supercritical condensing units, increasing the total installed capacity to 1.96 million kW. This project is an important energy project in Guangxi's 14th Five-Year Plan, with the strongest single-unit heating capacity in Guangxi, achieving "ultra-low emissions", and aiming to build a national benchmark for green, environmentally friendly, and intelligent coastal power plants, as well as a national high-quality engineering project.

Over the years, the company has won the Advanced Collective Award for Operation and Dispatch in the Southern Power Grid system for six consecutive years, the "Guangxi Contract-Honoring and Credit-Keeping Enterprise" title for nine consecutive years, and has been rated as a "Tax Credit Grade A" enterprise for many years. It has also been awarded the National Model Enterprise for Safety Culture Construction. The company is also actively involved in energy conservation and emission reduction, achieving combined heat and power generation through heating system renovation. It has built a 27-kilometer long-distance centralized heating pipeline network in Tieshan Port, with a maximum heating capacity of 93.5 tons/hour. The number of heat users has increased to 14, with a cumulative heating volume of 2.33 million tons, filling the gap in centralized industrial heating in Beihai City. Facing the wave of new energy development, the company has established a new energy working group to accelerate industrial transformation, and is fully committed to the reserve and development of new projects, continuously contributing to regional economic development and energy structure optimization.
