Owner Profile: Huadian International Shuozhou Thermal Power Co., Ltd. was established on March 27, 2012. Its predecessor was Shanxi Shuozhou Jineng Thermal Power Co., Ltd., a company controlled by Shanxi Jineng Group Company. On November 1, 2009, management was transferred to Huadian. The company is located in the Shuozhou Economic Development Zone, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. With total assets of 2.75 billion yuan, it has two 350,000 kW ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed air-cooled thermal power generation units. Its annual power generation capacity reaches 3.5 billion kWh, and its heating capacity is 12 million square meters, providing strong support for local electricity and heating supply. The company always upholds the responsibility of a central energy enterprise, coordinating safety and development, and completing important periods of supply guarantee tasks with high quality. It also started heating ahead of schedule to meet people's livelihood needs. At the same time, it actively practices the concept of green and low-carbon development, and has achieved remarkable results in new energy development and technological innovation, such as the start of construction of the country's first large-scale thermal power unit filled-bed thermal energy storage technology auxiliary peak-regulation project, and the flywheel energy storage project has been highly recognized.
