Project introduction
Scale: 1GW
Voltage Level: 550kV
Owner Profile:
The Macheng New Energy Base project is located in Tiemengang Township and Zhongguanyi Town, Macheng City, Huanggang City, Hubei Province, with a planned capacity of 1300 MW. The current (Phase 1) construction capacity is 400 MW. Anhui Institute is the general contractor for Phase 2, using monocrystalline silicon double-sided double-glass components, with a total installed capacity of 97.3728 MW. After the completion of this phase, the annual power generation will be approximately 150 million kWh, saving about 60,000 tons of standard coal.
The Macheng Million-level Base utilizes the peak-regulation capacity of the Dabie Mountain Power Plant and transmission channels for power consumption. It is planned and designed according to the "three-industry integration" model, reserving space for energy storage. It is connected to the grid through the 500 kV system, innovating a new power system that complements new energy and thermal power, a first in the Central China Power Grid and even the national grid. After completion, the project will promote green and low-carbon energy in Macheng City, create a "photovoltaic agriculture integration" power generation model, promote rural revitalization, and provide new impetus for the development of the old revolutionary base areas.
