Huadian Jinxing Xingxian Power Plant, full name Shanxi Jinxing Energy Co., Ltd. Jinxing Power Plant, is located 2.5 kilometers southwest of Xiaojiawa Coal Mine Industrial Square in Xingxian County, Lvliang City, Shanxi Province. The project is invested and constructed by Shanxi Jinxing Energy Co., Ltd., is a key project in Shanxi Province, and is also a key coal-fired power project of Huadian Group's "14th Five-Year Plan", with a total investment of 3.6 billion yuan.

The first phase of the power plant has a construction scale of 2×350,000 kW ultra-critical direct air-cooled extraction condensing steam turbine generator units, with supporting 2×1215t/h ultra-critical circulating fluidized bed boilers. It adopts a limestone-gypsum wet double-tower double-circulation desulfurization process, which can achieve ultra-low emission of pollutants and effectively reduce the impact on the environment. The project was approved by the Group Company in May 2014, and obtained the approval of the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission in May 2015. After experiencing suspension and shutdown, it finally officially started construction in September 2023 and plans to achieve "double commissioning" of the two units by the end of December 2025.

After completion and commissioning, the power plant will further realize the efficient on-site conversion of coal resources, promote comprehensive resource utilization, effectively improve the reliability of the Xingxian load center power grid, meet the electricity demand of the aluminum industrial park, and play an important role in local economic development and energy structure optimization.
