The specific plant site is located southeast of the No. 2 open-pit mine in the Baiyinhuamining area, east of the S307 Provincial Highway, and approximately 2.0km from the nearest edge of the eastern mining area.
Construction Scale: The power plant is located in Xilingol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The project's planned capacity is 4×660MW units. The first phase of the project will construct 2×660MW ultra-supercritical indirect air-cooled units, with provisions for expansion. This project serves as a supporting power source for the Xilingol-Taizhou ±800kV ultra-high voltage DC transmission project, with power transmitted to the Jiangsu load center for consumption. This phase of the project plans to build 2×660MW high-efficiency ultra-supercritical indirect air-cooled units, along with the simultaneous construction of wet desulfurization and denitrification facilities.
