Owner Profile: Pingxiang Pingsteel Anyuan Iron and Steel Ironmaking Plant is an important production unit of Pingxiang Pingsteel Anyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., located in Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province. It has a long history, witnessing the company's transformation from traditional ironmaking to modern production. Currently, the plant has three 450m³ blast furnaces and one 1080m³ blast furnace, with an annual pig iron production capacity of approximately 2.69 million tons. In the wave of technological innovation, the ironmaking plant continuously upgrades its equipment and processes, such as adopting an advanced in-furnace infrared monitoring system, achieving fully automatic charging, and using computers for furnace condition analysis, greatly improving production efficiency and molten iron quality. At the same time, the ironmaking plant pays great attention to environmental protection, constructing environmental protection sheds, adding dust removal hoods, and investing in a 90-square-meter sintering machine flue gas ultra-low emission project, achieving the national ultra-low emission standard four years ahead of schedule. In February 2025, the Anyuan Ironmaking Plant's No. 4 blast furnace achieved a monthly pig iron output of 122,000 tons, and the effective volume utilization coefficient of the blast furnace increased to 3.64 tons/cubic meter·day, ranking among the top blast furnaces of the same level nationwide. It continues to move forward on the path of efficient production and green development, laying a solid foundation for the development of Pingsteel Anyuan Iron and Steel.
