Project introduction
Scale: 2×350MW
Voltage Level: 550kV
Owner Profile: The Zhongmei Shanxi Pingshuo Muguajie Power Plant is located in Pinglu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province, adjacent to the large Muguajie coal washing plant in the Pingshuo mining area of Zhongmei Group. It enjoys unique geographical advantages and resource advantages. It is one of the first batch of key coal-electricity integrated projects in China. It is 66% controlled by Sujin Energy Holding Co., Ltd. and 34% by Datang Shanxi Power Generation Co., Ltd. Established in September 2011, with a total investment of 6.773 billion yuan. The power plant has an installed capacity of 2×660,000 kW, equipped with three main units provided by Dongfang Electric. Among them, the boiler is currently the largest circulating fluidized bed boiler in the world in terms of installed capacity. The steam turbine adopts supercritical, once-through intermediate reheating, and direct air-cooled steam turbine. The generator uses water-hydrogen cooling and static self-excitation excitation methods. All equipment meets high standards, ensuring efficient and stable operation. Its fuel is entirely sourced from low-caloric fuels such as gangue and washed middlings from the Muguajie coal washing plant, with an annual consumption of 5.1 million tons, effectively achieving resource recycling. The power plant is sent out at an AC 500 kV voltage level and transmitted to Jiangsu Province via the North Shanxi-Nanjing ±800 kV ultra-high voltage DC transmission channel. Unit 1 successfully passed the 168-hour trial operation on September 16, 2020, and Unit 2 passed the trial operation on September 30. After the official commissioning, the annual power generation can reach 6.6 billion kWh, contributing to regional power supply and energy structure optimization, and providing strong support for the coal-electricity integrated development strategy of the Zhongmei Group.
