Owner Profile: The Zhejiang Anji Power Plant of State Power Investment Corporation, officially known as the National Energy Anji Meixi 2×9H-class Gas Turbine New Construction Project, is a major project in Zhejiang Province and the first H-class gas turbine project of the State Power Investment Corporation. Located in Longkou Village, Meixi Town, Anji County, Huzhou City, the project utilizes the idle land of the original Meixi Power Plant. With a total investment of 3.46 billion yuan and covering approximately 256 mu, the project has an installed capacity of approximately 1.68 million kilowatts. It will construct two sets of 9H-class gas and steam combined cycle units, with a combined cycle efficiency of up to 64% and a carbon emission intensity of approximately 40% of a million-kilowatt coal-fired unit. It boasts advantages of low carbon, high efficiency, cleanliness, and flexibility. Since its commencement in June 2024, the project has progressed rapidly, with plans to complete and commission both units by the end of 2025. Upon commissioning, the power plant will meet the supporting power needs of northern Zhejiang, enhance the peak-shaving capacity of the provincial power system, and promote the green transformation of Zhejiang's power industry.
