Owner Profile: Datang Leizhou Power Plant is located on the west coast of Leizhou Peninsula, Zhanjiang City. It is a key project of Guangdong Province's 13th Five-Year Plan and an important strategic support point for China Datang Corporation's construction of a world-class enterprise. The power plant plans to build 6 units of 1 million kW secondary reheating units. The first phase investment of 9.1 billion yuan was used to construct 2 units of 1 million kW ultra-supercritical secondary reheating units, which were put into operation in December 2019 and January 2020 respectively. It is equipped with a 100,000-ton coal unloading wharf and a 3,000-ton heavy-duty wharf. Desulfurization, denitrification, dust removal, and wastewater treatment projects were built simultaneously. As the first million-kW secondary reheating power plant put into operation by Datang Group and Guangdong Province, and also the first domestic secondary reheating, π-type furnace, million-kW unit, it achieved "immediate operation, immediate stability, immediate profitability, and immediate design value". The unit has been awarded the 5A-level energy efficiency benchmark for four consecutive years, and has been awarded the Southern Power Grid Gold Medal Unit and the National Reliability Gold Medal Unit three times. It has also achieved remarkable results in environmental protection, water conservation, and safety culture construction.
